Please read below to troubleshoot common Blackboard login issues.
COVID-19 Vaccination Reporting (as of August 2021)
As of August 16, 2021, students will be prevented from logging into Blackboard and MyUSC if you have not uploaded your vaccine documentation or exemption form to the student health portal (MySHR). Please visit USC’s COVID-19 Vaccination Program Policy FAQs for more information.
If you have just submitted your paperwork, please allow approximately 1-4 business days for your access to these tools to be restored. For help with your documentation, please contact covid19@usc.edu.
MyUSC Portal
Some students and instructors who are accessing Blackboard via the MyUSC Portal may not be able to log in. Instead, please go directly to https://blackboard.usc.edu/ to sign in.
USC NetID Account Activation, Password Change, etc.
If you have not yet activated your NetID, please go to: Activate your NetID
Visit USC NetID Account Services to troubleshoot other common issues and contact the Customer Support Center.
Your USC NetID is a username that signs you in to central USC online tools and resources, including the wireless network, MyUSC, Blackboard, Google Apps, Microsoft Office 365, Trojan Time, and Workday.
All USC faculty, staff, and students receive a USC NetID account, also known as your Shibboleth or enterprise account. Some USC schools and departments maintain local systems that are not dependent on the USC NetID account.
