Advanced Grade Center Management
Anonymous Grading (Movie 2:07)
It’s possible to grade tests and assignments while hiding the name of the student.
Creating Grade Center Categories
In the Grade Center, you can use categories to group related columns together and organize the data.
Creating Smart Views
A Smart View is a focused look at the Grade Center. It shows only the columns that match a set of criteria, and the view is saved for continued use.
Color Code the Grade Center (Movie 2:34)
Learn how to use color to better manage your course grade book, e.g., flagging failing grades.
Creating Grading Periods
Use Blackboard Grading Periods to break-up the grade book into sections, i.e., 1st half of semester, etc.
Problem: Scroll Bar Missing from the Grade Center
Missing Grade Center scroll bars are a symptom of the default font size on your computer being set too high. The following instructions show you how to display Grade Center scroll bars when Windows is set to display extra large fonts.
