A Web Link is a shortcut to a Web resource. Add a Web Link to a Content Area to provide a quick access point to relevant materials.
Set Web Link Properties
Enter a Name for the Web Link. The name is the linked text that appears in the Menu. The Name must have fewer than 255 characters. Use a descriptive name so users will understand the destination of the link.
Enter the URL for the Web Link. The URL is the Web address for the link. The entire Web address must be entered, including the “http://”.
Web Links can be set to open in their own window or open within the Content frame. To keep students in the Content frame while viewing the Web Link, leave the box unchecked. To allow students to to view the Web Link in a new window, check Open in New Window.
